What started as monthly writer's meetings over drinks soon evolved into live storytelling performances.
When it became time to take those stories from the stage to the page, the girl didn't hesitate. She put her time, energy, and yes, her own money on the line. Not because it was easy, but because this community had given her something first. A reason to keep writing.
