We publish fiction that blur genres, unsettle expectations, and stay with readers long after the last page. As an independent press rooted in community and creativity, we’re always looking for writers willing to take risks.

 

What We’re Looking For

 

We’re drawn to fiction that feels distinctive and daring. This includes:

• Horror and dark fiction

• Weird and uncanny fiction

• Speculative or genre-blending stories

• Atmospheric or literary horror

• Bold voices and unconventional ideas

 

Stories that feel fresh, eerie, emotionally resonant, or slightly dangerous tend to grab our attention.

Submission Guidelines

Please review the following before submitting:

Length

• Short stories: 1,000 – 8,000 words, unless otherwise specified

• For anthology calls, follow the specific requirements listed in the announcement

Format

• File Type: .doc or .docx (Microsoft Word only)

• Font: 12-point Times New Roman

• Spacing: Double-spaced

• Margins: 1-inch on all sides

• Alignment: Left aligned (not justified)

• Header (top right): Last Name / Story Title / Page #

• First Page Should Include: Story title, author/pen name, email, and word count

 

Cover Note
Include a short note with:

• Your name and contact information

• Story title and word count

• A brief bio (1–3 sentences is perfect)

 

Response Time

 

As a small press, we carefully review each submission ourselves. Response times typically range from 4–8 weeks, though we often reply sooner.
